Dear YCORE Colleagues:
This month we have two extended articles. One deals with embracing multi-generational ministry, and the other relates to clergy self-care. We hope you find them of value in your interim work.
The Gap: the church is not a one-generation operation that closes with one generation and restarts with another one. It is a richer church that embraces multi-generational ministry and multi-generational leadership. So, the big question is, “How do we pass the torch?”
Survival: the hits and hurts of expectations, unsafe people, and crises will never end. This is one person’s story of how to deal with it in a healthy manner.
Please feel free to share your thoughts – and materials that you have found helpful in this world of transitional ministry.
